Job Description:	Job Title Job Level Sales Tech - Eq Der Ana/Dev - Associate Location Employment Type New York Full Time Regular Requirements The Equity Derivative Sales Technology team is working with the rest of the global sales team to build out the strategic Sales Desktop for Equities and Fixed Income. SalesSheet is the primary trade entry and order management system for Fixed Income. It utilizes a distributed architecture to trade in real-time electronically with the trading desks. We will leverage this platform and tailor it to equity derivatives sales user needs. Projects include implementing electronic functionality, integrating Equities Derivative trades into SalesSheet, and working with the business to define their requirements. Analyze, develop, and delivery technology solutions to satisfy the sales force's requirements for the equity derivatives business. Much of the development will be in the proprietary risk management and trading platform technology. Build relationships with sales people and operations to understand their business needs Build relationships with other technology teams to leverage existing systems and processes where possible Integrate derivatives functionality into strategic java-based sales trading application. Development will involve both GUI and server-side components. Solid hands on programming experience in OO language with need for Java Perl or other shell scripting are plusses Sybase or other relational database technology experience a plus C# a plus C++ experience a plus Strong analytical skills Strong communications skills Knowledge of equities and derivatives a plus. Desire to learn about equity derivatives is required. Should be able to work independently
