Software Engineer - NYC Trading Systems Analyst C#, Python, Windows XP paying 130-140k can go higher for right guy

We are currently looking for a full time software engineer to work in our New York headquarters office with the following skills and experience:

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

• Extend the Triton trading product with custom file loaders, reports, scripts, plug-ins, and trading strategies
• Meeting with clients to gather requirements
• Working with internal development groups to design solutions, implementing programs and scripts, loaders, user interfaces, etc.
• First line support of developed applications

 

 

Requirements are:

 

• B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
• 4-7+ years experience in software development
• Experience developing small applications using C# and Python
• RDBMS modeling and SQL language
• Windows NT/XP experience
• Ability to work directly with sales support and clients to define and implement customizations
• Ability to develop creative solutions to problems
• Innovation and ability to work independently
• Experience with equity trading systems strongly desired
