MODEX Field Specialists provide practical and best practices installation support of the Cable Modex systems during the design phase, manufacturing process, installation and post installation phases. The position is a key to the Modex growth strategy with current sales forecasted to be $19M in 2008 with a potential to grow to $100M over the next ten years.

Field support of Modex systems in the targeted segments of the electrical construction industry includes – multi family residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial.

Modex Field Specialists build effective relationships with the consultants, contractors, inspectors, and end users in order to become a recognized solution provider of modular wiring systems applications and keeping them abreast of new installation methods and product options that may be available concerning modular wiring systems products and services.
A high level of technical and practical knowledge of electrical installations and the application of Modex products are required in order to provide proper support. The incumbent must have the ability to assess the customer’s concerns and respond to his/her needs in order to find the best match to complete the installation.
Modex Field Specialists give presentations that are technically correct while providing energy and enthusiasm necessary to leave a positive impression.
The incumbent must have the tenacity to follow projects through to completion.
The incumbent should have five or more years of experience, in the electrical industry in addition to a Master Electrician Certification. Experience in project designs, installations, and management, with modular wiring system systems are desirable. The ability to read and understand schematic designs is also required. Computer skills are definitely required. Full knowledge of Microsoft Office is extremely important.
Maintain technical competence by continued inside training and outside continuing education.
Stay current with code and standards changes in order to protect the company’s interests.

Candidate Must Have :
* Journeyman, General or Master Electrician Certification/License
* At least 5 years of experience, in the electrical industry as an licensed electrician (beyond apprentice level)
* Ability to read & understand schematic designs
* Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel/Powerpoint/Word)
* Willing to travel +50%
