The role of the Technical QA Engineer is to work with the various technology teams to deliver quality assurance processes for a web-based E-Commerce project. This role will work closely with the Business Services, Operations, Administration, Java Development, Data Warehouse and Database teams to ensure technology facing items have been tested. The ideal candidate MUST have experience working in a highly technical QA field and possess experience in test automation, database testing and Web UI testing.

Experience
3+ years experience working in Technical QA positions.
Experience working with ad revenue generated and E-Commerce websites.
Proven knowledge of testing methodologies, processes and best practices in a web-based environment.
Experience working with SQL is required. This includes traversing a database and the ability to verify front end data in the database through querying.
Understanding of HTTP protocol and general data flows on the Internet.
Experience working with and testing JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS and Java.
Familiarity with caching technologies, both server level (Akamai) and application level.
Hands-on knowledge regarding Automation. Experience using QuickTest Professional (QTP) is required. Watchfire WebXM or other web automation tools a plus.
Test Director/Quality Center Test Plan & Test Script writing ability a must.
Experience testing across multiple browsers/operating systems (experience with Mac OSX required)
College degree is required, MIS or CIS is a plus.
