Open position exists for a Program Chief Engineer on the Bombardier C-Series development program responsible for the design and certification of the Electrical Power System. The Program Chief Engineer is the technical focal point of all aspects of the program through certification and is the technical leader of the functional team assigned to the program. The Program Engineer is expected to work closely with the Program Manager and the external customer (Bombardier) on a daily basis to ensure both internal and customer expectations are met. This position requires excellent communication skills and dedication to complete and follow through on program actions.
Some of the key responsibilities for this position include:
• Technical planning, execution, management and leadership of the development and functional support team
• Assist the Program Manager in resource and change management
• Control the program infrastructure such as:
o WBS, IMS, EVMS, Doors
o Program files
o Budget estimates
o Technical correspondence
o Action items and distribution lists, etc.
• Design control, adhere to Standard Work, PMSS, and HS processes and procedures
• Provide assistance to the PM on a daily basis, conduct customer telecons, hold reviews with HS management
• Focal point with the Customer on all technical aspects of the system and LRUs
o Conduct both internal and customer design reviews
o Manage schedule milestones
o Maintain action item log
Candidate Must Have :
* BS in Engineering
* 10 Years Techncial Leadership Experience
