RATE: $600 p/d corp to corp
Expertise with all tiers of Java; Extensive experience with JSP/ Struts, EJB, Swing, Weblogic and Core Java are required; Knowledge of JMS, JDBC and Perl are a plus.
· Candidate must have solid experience in the analysis, design and development of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) mechanism using Ab Initio.
· Prepare/implement data verification and testing methods for the Data Warehouse
· Solid knowledge of relational database design, Oracle or Sybase
· Experience with analysis, design and development of investment applications and processes.
· Creative problem-solving skills, recognizing multiple potential solutions to a given problem, and being able to identify and justify the optimum solution
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to implement previously developed technical designs
· Good oral and written communication skills (both technical and non-technical)
· Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently, balancing each so that required project dates are met.
· Familiarity with Market Data providers, systems and feeds
· Experience in asset management a plus.
