Provide support (hardware, software and application
level) for a globally distributed trading system. This includes infrastructure planning and deployment, hardware and OS break-fix, as well as application level support. The ideal candidate will have a track record of innovating solutions which streamline production environments, and improve the overall maintainability and performance; work closely with trading desks and developers, providing quick turnaround in answering their needs.
/Desired Skills/
* B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field.
* 5 years support and/or system administration experience in a
real-time production environment.
* Comfortable with patching and recompiling kernel
* Proficient in at least one scripting language (Perl, Python, Ruby,etc)
* Basic knowledge of Java and C++.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
