8-15 years experience in installation and support of information security solutions. Host Intrusion Protection Systems and PKI are both essential

Experience with:
Implementation, maintenance and use of intrusion detection systems at host and network levels
Installation and maintenance of communication and encryption technology options (VPN, SSL, Whole Disk, PKI, User and File-based, etc). Use of advanced analytic techniques for identification of security event details. Advanced understanding of security practices and available technologies, current products. Installation and maintenance of firewalls. LAN and WAN design. Vulnerability testing and remediation of UNIX and Windows based systems. Demonstrated security performance in a regulated industry environment.

Function:
Install/upgrade/manage Host Intrusion Protection Systems
Investigate, respond to, and follow through on possible and actual security breaches
Install/upgrade/manage enterprise encryption products and processes
Install/upgrade/manage web, email, and network filtering product(s)
Install/upgrade/manage event log server and correlation tool(s)
Provide security consultation expertise for all departments particularly when new systems or major changes to existing systems or networks are contemplated
Perform network and host vulnerability assessments and work with IT to remediate vulnerabilities
Install/upgrade/manage firewalls and firewall rule changes
Install/upgrade/manage network Intrusion Detection Systems
Perform network change control function from a security perspective
Provide user training in security awareness and in conveying “Corporate” information security policies
Perform security related and other projects as requested by Manager, Information Security
