This individual will be responsible for assisting in managing the monthly execution, monitoring and communications of the Financial Close. ** Provide an End-to-End view of the IT production processes used to support the close and a mapping to the business area activities they support. ** Provide better customer support to the business and be the single IT point of contact for financial close status, issues and escalation. ** Work with the support teams and ensures all applications are fully supported during the financial close and all issues are quickly resolved. ** Manage Operational risk by proactively preventing issues from occurring, ensuring long term problems are resolved, proactive checking applications prior to their execution and review of planned releases. ** This individual will focus on managing the monthly execution, monitoring and communication, continuing to develop and improve the current process, and ensure problems identified as part of the close are documented, tracked and worked by the appropriate team to resolve the long term problem, ultimately reducing incidents and improving the close process. ** In addition, this individual will ensure all processes are fully documented and implement improvements to the existing processes, defining a repeatable process that can be used manage other business critical processes. Skill Level: Mid-level (3-7 yrs) Skills: ** Excellent written and oral communications ** Attention to details ** Task oriented ** Technical background/understanding ** Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint, ability to multi-task Comments: ** Individual will need to be flexible with their schedule.
