NYC is pref but Boston is ok.

REQUIRED
6+ years database development and administration using Microsoft SQL Server is required.
Experience with Microsoft Integration Services including writing robust data ingests, is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (OLAP needed) including designing and maintaining cubes is required. In depth T-SQL knowledge is required, including advanced tuning skills.
Experience with data modeling and use of data modeling tools, such as ERWin or PowerDesigner, is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services is required.

DESIRED
Knowledge of Visual C# is a plus. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. (will be used later on in project so contractor most likely won't get to that point) Knowledge with transactional replication.
Knowledge of Fast (tech search) is a great plus

Work with developers and product owners to define requirements, perform analysis and design, and implement robust, maintainable solutions that meet the business requirements. Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical database models. Provide routine database administration support including backups, recovery, security, and replication for the development and quality assurance environments. Create technical specifications and support documentation. Create SSIS packages to load and process data. Develop and enhance stored procedures. Design and create reports using Reporting Services and Analysis Services. Design and develop maintenance for cubes using Analysis Services. Assist in establishing, maintaining, and communicating standards, guidelines and data architecture best practices. Mentor and work closely with development and implementation teams; and for each phase of a project, work with the project management to identify and mitigate data architecture risks. Lead and participate in reviews and quality assurance processes to ensure that the data architectures and standards are being adhered to
