Compensation: $85K - $90K / Year

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Taking ownership of data processing and analytics initiatives including data warehouse, ETL, reporting, and external data sources.
• Writing amazing code and even better documentation
• Understanding business needs and over-achieving
• Working closely with Lead Back Office Developer to achieve objectives
• Support and extend existing reporting and data analysis systems.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ Years Software Development
• 5+ Years Relational Database Experience (be a data master)
• Keen understanding of usability and data reporting needs
• Familiarity with non-relational data management (e.g. Hadoop)
• Familiarity with ETL, Business Intelligence, and Reporting Platforms
• Strong desire to use and get involved with open source communities
• Incredible understanding of the Internet, from culture to technology
• Great communication skills (oral and written)

CHARACTERISTICS
• Ridiculously diligent approach to documentation
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; creative solutions development
• Experience with the Pentaho suite a serious plus
• Great knowledge of open source universe
• Excellent organization skills
• Strongly opinionated; yet flexible
• Be a well-rounded individual with a fun personality
