Reporting Analyst - (US-NY-White Plains)

Compensation: $85K - $90K / Year

Partner with key functional department heads and with the Accounting department to create a financial reporting framework
Perform data analysis from various data sources
Normalize legacy databases and migrate data into new databases
Create database synchronization scripts
Analyze business logic and design / update data models
Perform database analysis and propose changes to improve scalability and/or performance
Provide accurate and properly formatted data to programmers/developers
Review existing design and identify any areas for improvement
Perform basic administration and maintenance of SQL databases
Position Requirements/Candidate Qualifications:

4+ years of relevant experience in a management reporting/business analysis role using SQL techniques, within a financial services environment
Strong work ethic and professional maturity
Familiarity with back office trade operations and trade accounting procedures
Strong knowledge and experience with the following:
SQL (T-SQL, MySQL), including Stored Procedures, Triggers, UDFs
SSRS (2005)
Data integration software (e.g. Pervasive / Cast Iron / etc)
CRM systems (familiarity with Salesforce schema a big plus)
Basic fundamentals of programming language
Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
Sharp analytical thinking skills, and a proven ability to solve complex data-centric problems
