Will lead a team of IT professionals focused on proactive engagement and relationship building with both the business units and IT, with laser focus on creating certainty around immediate, mid-term, and long-term IT solutions. Strengthen relationships with business stakeholders at all levels of the organization, so that IT is always positioned as a strategic partner in reaching The Organization’s ambitious goals.

Responsibilities/Duties:
Acts as a strategic partner to the CIO, Senior IT Leadership peers and business units leads in IT initiative development, management and prioritization of IT solutions.
Evangelizes the value of IT across the organization, assisting business units in defining IT initiatives and preparing business value statements and clear return on investment (ROI) propositions.
Ensures processes and procedures are in place to continuously evaluate the success of major initiatives – from tactical progress, through issue resolution, and risk mitigation. Ensures the timely communications regarding all initiatives to appropriate “interested parties” within the business and IT, keeping the CIO informed of all important issues/concerns/ progress on all initiatives.
Ensures the S&D team functions are in alignment with business strategy and initiatives, holding both the strategic and tactical vision for these functions: IT Business Analysis / IT Systems Subject Matter Expertise, and IT Project Portfolio Management.
Ensures that part of the S&D mission includes internal to IT buy-in of initiatives so that they are optimally setup for success with the business.
Ensures IT S&D becomes the “go to” face of IT out in the business units. Develops and mentors staff within S&D to ensure collaborative problem resolution and progress together as a cohesive team.
Ensures all members of S&D have clear individual and team goals, and that S&D members are able to execute on those goals. Ensures that the Solutions & Delivery Team has the resources necessary to accomplish annual goals.
Actively participates as a member of the IT Senior Leadership Team, assisting with the development and growth of the team as a valuable strategic thought group.

Competencies:
10-15+ years experience managing major IT functions – most preferably Application Development/Support and/or IT Operations or Project/Portfolio management.
Must be both a strategic thinker as well as detail-oriented and extremely organized, with exceptional writing and communication skills.
At least 7-10+ years as a senior manager in a related capacity, with demonstrated ability to manage and mentor large sub-teams, as well as a large breadth of stakeholders in a distributed organization.
· Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior management and key stakeholders
Highly analytical and data-driven, with deep expertise in Microsoft Office Suite – demonstrated excellence with PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

BS, Computer Science, MIS or a related field preferred or equivalent business experience
