This position processes assumed and retro statements and inforce data in SGL systems such as LIRAS, Omega, and TAI for specified assumed and/or retrocession clients. The position works closely with the Data Acquisition team to assist in client data mappings on assigned companies and acts as liaison with client company to ensure proper data administration.
Description
• Log, track, and record financial and statistical data from assumed clients into Omega.
• Log, track, and record summary retro billing data produced by LIRAS and/or other systems (TAI, Sylvie) into Omega.
• Review retrocession data produced by internal systems for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile monthly/quarterly inforce data against policy exhibit(statistics) reports received from clients.
• Develop peer to peer relationships with client companies to assist in resolving questions and setting up new business.
• Work with treaty, claims, underwriting, finance, and actuarial departments as needed to resolve administrative issues.
• Assist in external audits as necessary and perform internal administrative desk audits as instructed.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Life Reinsurance industry required.
• Prior experience developing data maps of client transaction and inforce data a plus.
• Expert proficiency in MS Access and Excel required.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Successful completion of LOMA classes towards ARA (Associate, Reinsurance Administration) preferred.
