A regional accounting firm based in Northern NJ is trying to hire a Controller for a full time position on staff. From a conversation we’ve had with their Chief Partner, this is a synopsis of what they are looking for:
• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Process automation experience
• 5-7 years experience in Accounting
• Strong Excel, Quickbooks experience
• Tax forecasting experience
• Accrual accounting experience
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
No travel. No supervision.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to financial budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, as well as process improvements and streamlining the closing process . . . you know. The usual.
Position reports to the Senior Partner.
