The term is 6 mo to 1 yr. Operates at the principle software engineer level or higher Has at least 10 years of experience in embedded design using the C programming language, preferrably working with real-time operating systems. Is experienced with RF communication and low-power wireless networks. This includes the operation of 802.15.4 and/or Bluetooth protocols. Is comfortable across the entire development chain: requirements, development, and testing. Is proficient in documenting requirements and test reports. Has preferrably worked in the medical device field. Works well in a self-directed manner when given high-level task summaries. Has performed system integration across multiple products. Has a "systems level" perspective/mindset…. Considers cross functional input, design intent, technology limitations, amount of time required to perform tasks, coexistence of other algorithms and devices The individual should preferrably have experience with real-time operating systems. The individual should preferrably have worked on board service packages and drivers for Windows CE devices.
