Experienced senior developer to perform a risk integration project.. The successful candidate will integrate risk reports based upon position, product, price, client hierarchy feeds with our existing risk framework. The scope of this risk integration project is to deliver via a fast-pace process a new set of risk reports. The risk reports will produce market exposure across multiple asset types such as : equities, equity derivatives, futures and option on futures. The project deals with large scale MS SQL data store. 

Responsibilities 
* Design and develop data views and stored procedures 
* Design and develop automation procedure to optimize exiting data flow 
* Assist in Developing testing methodologies to be used by the technology team 
* Assist in integration with the firm-wide financial library 
* Liaison with the risk managers and business analyst to deliver fast pace solution to the front desk 
* Able to produce data quality measurements and suggest methods to improve data quality 
* Assist risk managers with creation of ad-hoc reports from large data store. 

Minimum Qualifications : 
* Minimum 5 years experience with MS SQL 
* MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and the creation and enhancement of 
* Minimum 5 years experience in the investment / securities industry 
* minimum understanding of financial asset types ( equity , bond, futures, FX , derivatives, rates and credit) 
* Minimum 3 years J2EE programming experience 
* Proven experience in large scale integration projects. 
* Proactive attitude; disciplined, organized, assertive, quick learner, team player 
* Strong attention to detail 
* Excellent written, oral presentation skills and relationship building skills 

Optional Qualifications : 
* Experience with Oracle database 
* Experience with VBA/Excel spreadsheets 
* Full end to end Java development. 
* LINUX/UNIX, Eclipse , Spring, MQ messages, Web Containers (Web logic/tomcat), Perl 
* Experience in Framework: Web Services, XML, Swing, SOA
