Experienced Microsoft SharePoint focused professional with a passion for, and in-depth experience in, designing, building, deploying and supporting large world-class enterprise-level Microsoft solutions.
This position will include responsibility for:
Providing pre-sales, post sales and implementation services for clients. Providing senior technical leadership through all project stages for small and large scale SharePoint infrastructure assessment, design, deployments, migrations utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies.
Requirements:
Architect/Team Lead with experience in the following:
Consultancy, Vendor or large Enterprise experience
The required experience is expected to be with large/Enterprise customer engagement:
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint/MOSS, including assessment, design, pilot upgrades/implementations
Capacity planning, disaster recovery, performance tuning and testing, logical architecture design
Design a large enterprise-level farm environment based upon technical, application and business requirements
Knowledge to develop complex deployment scenarios
Ability to support application migration engagements
Ability to deliver Microsoft SDPS (certification) – SharePoint design and planning service engagements
Experience with the following related technologies:
SQL Server 2000/2005
Internet Information Server 6.0
Active Directory
Microsoft Office desktop application integration with SharePoint
Project Server integration
Windows Workflow Foundation
Server farm design concepts
Windows networking principle
MS Windows Server 2003/2008
Additional experience/tasks for this position:
Superior customer facing and technical skills including ability to develop “trusted advisor” relationship with Enterprise customers
Project Management experience a plus
Assessment of customer's environment prior to migration.
Project plan development.
Documentation for migration plan.
Development of deployment and test plans.
Experience working as a team leader within a process/project-oriented organization.
Significant experience within a large scale Windows Enterprise customer/employer
Methodical approach to problem solving and resolution.
Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.
Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.
The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.
The Consultant must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization; develop procedural documentation; develop and conduct effective presentations; effectively demonstrate products and solutions; and be able to write customer proposals
