§ Demonstrated knowledge of Sun hardware running SPARC and Intel with Solaris and Red Hat Linux.

 

§ Experience in Sun Solaris Containers and Global Zones technology.

 

§ Experience in Sun Flash Archive solution.

 

§ Experience in VMWare on Red Hat Linux Platform.

 

§ Experience using Network Appliance storage and software solutions.

 

§ Experience in NetApp Snapshot, SnapMirror, SnapRestore, SnapVault, and FlexClone technologies.

 

§ Experience in NFS and Fiber Channel storage configuration.

 

§ Experience using Symantec Net Backup and NDMP for backup and recovery to diskpools and tapes.

 

§ Understand system and database factors affecting Oracle and Sybase database and application performance.

 

§ Demonstrated understanding of networking performance issues and requirements.

 

§ Demonstrated skill in UNIX shell programming in and related UNIX utilities.

 

§ Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in an efficient team environment.
