Position responsibilities are as follows:
* Support client inquiries received via inbound calls, online chats and a proprietary email messaging system. Inquiries will encompass a broad range of hardware, software and connectivity matters.
* Assist clients with platform set-up and configuration
* Conduct real-time diagnosis and troubleshooting in order to identify and resolve platform operation and performance issues
* Work interactively with other customer service staff and developers
* Utilize ticketing system to document and track all inbound and outbound customer interactions
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree or technical school equivalent with emphasis in Information Technology
* Possess a strong understanding of current technologies including DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, and Windows XP/7, Mac and Unix/Linux operating systems.
* Knowledge of API programming languages (Java, C++, ActiveX, DDE for Excel) and Perl a plus.
* Prior help desk and call center experience, financial services industry related a plus
* Effective problem solving skills, sense of urgency and capacity to own and manages tasks till resolved.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Positive and courteous attitude as well as the patience to work with clients having a diverse range of technical proficiency
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology
Will also consider technical certifications- A+ Certification, etc.
