The ideal candidate would have 8-10 years in progressively advanced roles such as a Oracle DBA, Applications DBA and/or Oracle Data Architect. The position requires strong technical and consulting skills, a broad knowledge of IT technologies and strong communications skills. Candidate must demonstrate leadership through recognition, reward, respect, trust, and moral building within the team and across the many cross-organizational provider and business relationships.

Essential Job Functions 

Strong relational and dimensional data-modeling skills. Act as the lead data architect supporting customer facing, commercial ediscovery applications. Design and implement database architecture including strategies for partitions, failover (high availability), archiving, modeling, etc. 


Requirements 

• 8+ years experience with Oracle on UNIX (preferably Linux or Solaris). 
• Proven Oracle performance engineering & tuning skills. 
• Oracle database administration skills on 10g RAC, OCFS, ASM in Linux and 
• Solaris environments. 
• Solid knowledge of RMAN backups, Oracle utilities, etc. 
• Database performance monitoring and tuning skills, SQL tuning. 
• Superior Data Architecture skills. 
• Excellent PL SQL and SQL PLUS Development skills.
