Qualifications & Requirements: 
• ~10+ years experience in Information Technology. 
• 5-10 years of experience in Architecture Practice, including design and development using Systems Development Life Cycle and Project Management Methodologies, RUP, or iterative methodologies. 
• Demonstrated skills in with business architectures (eg CBM), Zachman, TOGAF and Enterprise Architecture techniques 
• Experience in designing and implementing methodologies and deliverables 
• Able to lead/teach/mentor others in architectural practice 
• In depth knowledge and experience in designing and implementing application and infrastructure topologies 
• Comfortable and effective with C-level executives and senior managers in IT and Business 
• Has led large (multimillion USD) enterprise level projects or engagements 
• Has deep experience in at least one industry vertical 
• Bachelors Degree required, Masters level degree with several years of work experience preferred 
• Professional certifications desirable, eg TOGAF, Open Group Certified Master ITA, PMP, etc. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. 
• Strong presentation skills required. 
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (50% or more) 

Additional Guidelines: 
• Projects should have been a minimum of 5,000 hours and they must have been the lead technologist. They should have been on the project from start to finish 
• What are the minimum skills required for all qualified candidates, i.e. 
o Consulting experience: it is essential to have client facing skills. 
o Experience with estimation, work planning, and deliver is required. 
• Fundamental responsibilities/accountabilities include design and direction for all architectural aspects of solution; development of plans, conceptual/logical/physical architectures; lead architecture team consisting of infrastructure, data, and application competencies 

Must be able to explain how one would arrive at an architecture document from the requirement phase 
Must show the energy or enthusiasm to learn 
Must have demonstrated ability to lead others
