Support wide variety of End Users technical issues (see below job duties), from the Network Operation Center via remote support, phone support, on site (if needed). 

JOB DUTIES: (including, but not limited to) 
1. Server, Workstation, Laptop diagnostics and remediation of reported issues. 
2. Hardware installations, replacements, upgrades; Software installations, upgrades. 
3. Support of PDA devices, to include Blackberry, iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile via Blackberry Professional Server, Microsoft Active Sync, IMAP and POP3. 
4. Assist with Remote Client connectivity; Virtual Private Network, Remote Desktop Protocol, Terminal Server, Citrix Solutions, Microsoft Outlook Web Access, IIS, Hosted Solutions. 
5. Diagnostics of Server and Workstation connectivity; Networking, Hardware, Cabling, etc. 
6. Setup of End User systems; Client Profiles, Domain Access, File Sharing, Print Sharing, Outlook. 
7. Diagnostics of Network Appliances; Cisco, Barracuda, Sonic Wall, Cymphonix routers, firewalls, web filters, spam filters. 
8. Troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange Server email and connectivity issues. 
9. Escalation procedures and Vendor Management for all critical issues. 

INDUSTRY QUALIFICATIONS: 
1. Microsoft Certified Professional (recommended MCSA, MCITP, MCTS, MCT) 
2. CompTia A+ or Network+ 
3. 5 Years minimum experience with Networking (Servers and Workstations) and Help Desk/Call Center Support 

SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS: 
1. Desktop: Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 
2. Server: Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2008 
3. Exchange: Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010 
4. Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP 
5. Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point 
6. Excellent Telephone Communication Skills 
7. Hardware: Servers, Workstations hardware, monitors, etc. 
8. Printers: Local (USB, LPT), Network (TCP/IP, Print Servers, RDP, Citrix) 
9. Storage: Network Allocated Storage 
10. Wireless Connectivity: Routers, WAP, Controllers 
11. Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NETBIOS 
12. Clear documentation accountability for all service calls, escalations, vendor liaisons, product tracking. 
13. BDR: Backup Solutions; Symantec Backup Exec, Zenith BDR, Acronis True Image, Windows Server backup. 
14. Virtual: VMware ESX, Microsoft Hyper V 


WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
High Profile Network Operation Center supporting Managed Support end users and internal corporate environment. Position requires ability to work independently as well as within a Level structure. Rotating on-call after hours schedule is mandatory. Candidate must possess professionalism, courtesy, and industry growth goals.
