E-commerce NY start-up that rents fashion products is looking for sharp and professional Software Developers who want to be a part of a dynamic team writing next generation software.

 

The company's website is a members-only exclusive community that has already reached over 1MM members. Over the past 18 months, the company has become one of the fastest growing start-ups in the country being in Time's 50 best websites in the U.S.

 

The company is working on very exciting technical projects that are transforming the retail industry. It is funded by 3 of the top Venture Capitalists expecting to quadruple sales in 2011.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

· Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design

 

· Knowledge of Tomcat/Servlets, JDBC, HTTP/JSON, Linux/Bash scripting

 

· Experience with Web services; testing and implementation a plus

 

· Coding skills in PHP, Javascript, SQL, and knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming

 

· Demonstrate the ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions

 

· Experience with Maven, Archiva, Hudson, Cacti, Eclipse, VI or equivalents

 

· Effective communication skills are a must

 

Responsibilities:
· Develop, test, and deploy Java solutions on our back-end logistics and warehouse management system. Think Netflix, only with time sensitivity
· Scripting, automation, design, development, testing, deployment and support
· Contribute to Enterprise Agility
