Compensation: $120K - $130K / Year

As the Usability Specialist, you will be expected to understand the needs of the business and translate your analysis into business requirements and software specifications. You will lead select projects identified as having high usability impact, as well as contribute to all projects that have a UI design component. 

Essential Requirements 
• Must have a strong portfolio, demonstrating past success in designing UI’s for complex applications 
• Prior experience designing UI’s for major financial services firms or hedge funds 
• Experience in all phases of user interface development 
• Able to articulate a process for moving UI projects from the fluid “idea” stage through implementation 
• Knowledge of at least one of the following asset classes: 

FX , Commodities, Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit, Equity Derivatives 

General Qualifications and Skills 
• Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills 
• Self-motivated, resourceful and creative 
• Keen attention to detail while keeping track of the big picture 
• Ability to multi-task and manage work to critical project timelines 

Additional Skills/Experiences Desired: 
• Degree in User Interface Design or Human Computer Interaction 
• Proficient with graphic design tools
