Compensation: $110K - $130K / Year

1. Conducts detail level data analysis and data profiling activities. 
2. Facilitates designs and deploys Data Architecture solutions that include logical and physical designs. 
3. Interacts with technical analysts to gather data requirements and expand the knowledge of the data available from source data systems, Data Warehouse And Data Marts. 
4. Empowers developers, coders and other IT personnel through instruction and functional knowledge transfer as it relates to data and data structures. 
5. Identifies data architecture and technical opportunities and make recommendations to solve complex data problems. 
6. Exercises solid judgment and ability to push self & others for results. 

7. Effectively interacts with peers, stakeholders, end users and technical partners. 

8. Drives issues to complete activities on time and draw issues to closure. 
9. Provides multiple potential solutions when faced with a new complex problem. 
10. Implements data focused architecture solutions in a flexible, fast paced and rapidly changing environment. 
11. Applies broad in depth technical business knowledge to establish data architecture impact, direction, and priorities. 

REQUIREMENTS 
1. 10 or more years - Overall IT experience. 
2. 5 or more years of experience with SQL, and data analysis tools/data profiling tool. 
3. 5 or more years - Data Modeling Experience; Delivering both logical models and physical designs. 
4. 5 or more years working with a data modeling tool – PowerDesigner or Erwin. 
5. 5 or more years - Data Warehouse Methodology: ER using 3NF Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and denormalization. 
6. Experience designing for Terabyte sized systems. 
7. Experience with design for MPP systems (Teradata, Netezza or Hadoop). 
8. Full software development life cycle experience and understanding. 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent; Master's degree is preferred. 

· Experience in Banking and Financial domain is plus 
· Certification in Teradata Physical implementation is plus
