Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities: 

- Management reporting, budgeting, planning, forecasting and financial analysis. 

- Accounting degree, Finance degree is acceptable 

- 7+ years total experience, with minimum of 2+ years financial analysis experience required. 

- Strong, demonstrated accounting skills including general ledger experience. 

- Solid excel and PowerPoint skills required. 

- Hyperion planning and reporting experience highly preferred. 

- Insurance industry experience highly preferred. 


• Prepare financial reports utilizing a broad knowledge of accounting policies and procedures. 
• Prepare and/or input general ledger entries by utilizing set procedures and various accounting systems. 
• Research accounting treatment and policies by utilizing available technology and other resources. 
• Research and resolve reconciling issues and discrepancies; take corrective measures to prevent. 
• Provide customer service to internal and external groups. 

Qualifications: 
• Broad knowledge of accounting practices and procedures. 
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and related financial statements. 
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to establish and cultivate internal working relationships & ability to work across all functions/levels as part of a team. 
• Exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication (oral and written) skills. 
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. 
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic and sometimes stressful and demanding environment. 
• Ability to work well in a team environment. 
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Office (especially excel). 

Education / Experience: 
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business (or equivalent accounting experience). 
• 5+ years of related experience. 
• Public Accounting preferred. 
• Insurance experience a plus. 
• CPA a plus.
