Responsible for driving outstanding customer satisfaction based on consistent delivery of business analytical and support skills using a variety of source information including filings and products. The employee’s primary responsibility will be to gather information, analyze and document requirements and company products, support implementation of requirements into a variety of processing systems, support and maintain corporate databases and tools, process state filings as directed provide resource for development and testing of rating systems, develop and manage departmental communication resources, create and lead teams to enhance inter-departmental communication and workflow.

Essential Job Functions:

Work with filings vendor on day to day filing issues, concerns and database management.
Develop, maintain and enhance line rating tools and state filings database.
Analyze bureau circulars and independent products for systems and business impact.
Process basic ISO and other filings.
Interface with various systems vendors and others to implement approved filings.
Develop and maintain documentation for company products and workflows.
Data entry of information into departmental databases.
Development and maintenance of bulletins, manuals and other communications documents.
Research and analyze compliance issues; provide recommendations for addressing.
Assist with systems product configuration and testing.
Provide subject matter expertise for bridging the gap between Product Management group and systems solutions.
Special Projects as assigned.
Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years experience in Field Underwriting, Corporate Underwriting, State Filings or an Underwriting Operations Unit
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills required; Capable of making group presentations
- Strong technical aptitude, with a demonstrated appreciation for customer and client services
- Recognizable leadership skills including the ability to influence with others
- Dynamic, energetic, and decisive with a visible sense of urgency
- Ability to engender and maintain the confidence of customers, staff, and management team
- Highly organized and productive with strong prioritization abilities
- Exceptional balance of strategic thinking, analytical aptitude and appreciation for detail
- Knowledge of ISO commercial property and casualty and NCCI manuals and circulars strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Adobe products is critical
- CPCU or other Professional Designations a plus but not required
