At least 3 years direct experience with RMAN and other database backup and recovery tools such as SQL*Loader 
Oracle RAC and other clustering and high-availability tools. 

Provides database installation and configuration on AIX. Work with system administrators to configure Oracle databases. Monitor and maintain production databases. Analyze and develop strategies for improving database architectures. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production databases. Improve and maintain the backup and recovery process. Write shell scripts as needed for monitoring and automation. Research, implement, and test new database components for major releases.
