IT Manager--Fixed Income Technology - (US-NY-New York)

Compensation: $140K - $160K / Year

Salary is quoted. Bonus is substantial.

Position is based in the New York satellite office and provides leadership in NYC and London, liaising with headquarters elsewhere. Lite travel to NYC and headquarters.

Fixed Income experience is ABSOLUTELY required
Buy or Sell-side fine
Prefer someone from a mid-size, multi office background – Relationship Manager maybe a PM
Technically, you should have an understanding of the systems and processes that are used, and enough knowledge of 1st through 3rd level desktop and application support to manage those teams who are very self-sufficient.
Proven ability to work with high-level people in a trading environment.

· Experience managing a helpdesk function
· Experience working with support teams located in different countries/time zones.
· Experience working with IT departments requiring indirect and influence based approach.
· Knowledge of Infrastructure system (e.g. data center, telecom, video conferencing).
· Experience in business analysis/project mgmt experience- a plus
· Experience working with disaster recovery vendor – a plus
· Experience managing staff in London-a plus
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
