A leading vendor of Risk Management and Trading solutions for the Commodities Markets is looking for a J2EE Team Lead to work across all Commodity Products. 

Job Responsibilities: 
• Lead a team through full system life cycle development of large, N Tier application server development using Java/J2EE, EJB, JMS, SQL, Webservices, SOAP and XML 
• Interact with Business Analysts / Customers to drive functional requirements / issues into technical solutions 
• Be involved in all phases of SDLC including requirements, estimation, design, development, testing and support. 
• Take complete ownership of the tasks ensuring quick and thorough processing / resolution to deliver high quality results on budget and on time. 
• Assess delivery risks and identify mitigation plans early in the timeline. 
• Help with recruitment, mentoring and training new team members. 

Essential Skills and Experience: 
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent. 
• Minimum 8 years of experience working in IT 
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading a team. 
• Strong concepts in OOP and design patterns. 
• Expertise in Core Java, JDBC, multi-threading and JMS. 
• Extensive server side hands-on Java development. 
• In-depth familiarity with database applications and database design standards, entity-relationship model, database processing and normalization, ability to write complex query statements. 
• Experience with Weblogic and JBoss Application servers 
• Experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases 
• Hands-on experience in developing large, scalable, high availability Java/J2EE applications
