Drive global execution of product, platform and custom solution initiatives. 
Develop and deliver strategic technology objectives and operating policies and procedures to attain key technology goals. 
Work closely with key product stakeholders, especially the Chief Product Officer, to align technology and product strategies. 
Address tactical issues while maintaining strategic technology and organizational vision. 
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and overall excellence within and around the technology organization. 

The successful individual will bring a deep sense of personal responsibility and accountability, along with drive, intelligence and passion both for and about technology. He or She approaches work with a flexible and adaptable attitude toward changes in the business environment and the technology universe. The successful individual has proven his or her ability to work through conflict, build trust, and influence outcomes through outstanding interpersonal skills with all kinds of people at all levels. 

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership and management experience and have previously operated a mission-critical technology environment while maintaining a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and extreme productivity. This executive should have experience managing multiple product and platform roadmaps and effectively communicating throughout a mid-to-large product and services organization. Specifically, the ideal candidate’s background, experience, and skill set should include: 

BS degree in CS, math, or a related discipline. 
Minimum 15 years of experience, 10 of which in a leadership role. 
Outstanding execution fundamentals – the ability to set ambitious, yet achievable goals, effectively prioritizing them, clearly communicating them, and instilling the team with a deep sense of accountability for their attainment. 
Proven experience hiring and inspiring teams of exceptionally talented technologists and creating an environment where the very best talent wants to be. 
Experience setting the technology direction for teams – evaluating options, making decisions, and evaluating results. 
Proven experience establishing and maintaining practical engineering best practices (design process/reviews, coding standards, testing standards, information management, deployment processes). 
Experience with and appreciation for enterprise-scale agile development methodologies and associated best practices. 
Experience evaluating and managing 3rd party technology vendors and outsourcers. 
Extensive prior experience with hands-on product development and engineering. 
Extensive architectural leadership for a major product and/or service. 
Successful delivery of products and/or solutions in many of the following domains: large-scale data integration and analytics; cross-platform mobile application development; rich, highly interactive and data-driven web applications; social media applications. 
Experience leading software development organizations across multiple geographies. 

Ability to collaborate across multiple organizations at a senior level to discern and influence business needs and fill these needs quickly and effectively.
