EXPERIENCE: The candidate will be responsible for creation and administration of 11g databases in RedHat Linux RAC environment, proactive database performance tuning, optimization of existing and creation of new database procedures, developing and implementation database automation solutions and performing quality assurance verification of various database project implementations 
· The candidate must have strong experience with installing, upgrading and supporting Oracle 11g databases on SUSE and RedHat Linux platform. Oracle 9i and 10g experience on UNIX AIX, SUSE and RedHat Linux and Windows platforms is a plus 
· The candidate is required to have hands-on experience with implementation, administration and usage of Oracle Real Application Clusters and Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 
· Experience with support and administration of Oracle e-Business Suite 11i and Oracle Discoverer BI technology is a plus. 

SKILLS: · Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field 
· 10 or more years of related experience 

· Good written and oral communication skills 
· Ability to work on-call hours 
· Strong technical documentation skills 
· Good interpersonal skills 
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment 

SPECIAL SKILLS: 
· Working experience with various database management systems in database implementation, testing, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment 
· Previous database administration experience with demonstrated ability and knowledge of various platforms 
· Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws 
· Strong customer service orientation
