Position covers NY and NJ 

The position will play a critical role in raising profile across multiple industries. They will serve as the primary organization and thought leader for the business intelligence, analytics team and data management. Working with business and IT leadership, this position will help define the business intelligence strategic objectives and deliver results against the team’s objectives. This role will also be accountable for data warehouse architecture, designing solutions and analytics and ensuring end user support and delivery. 

The successful candidate should have prior experience working in the Big 4 services firms or niche firms that specialize in Business Intelligence, demonstrated ability to bring a point-of-view to market, and a track record of success working with clients. 

· Develop the long term strategy, create a roadmap to execute tactically qtr over qtr while executing against the long term strategy, be the lead consultant to ascertain the business drivers along with the technical issues, craft the solution. 

· Design, implement and deploy Business Intelligence Solutions which are applications and technologies used to gather, provide access to, and analyze data and information about company operations for end-to-end data warehousing and analytics 
· Establish BI’s credibility and build long term client relationships 
· Become the key visionary and have a deep understanding of the market tends, current business portfolio and future market needs sufficient to be seen as a valued contributor to the deal teams. 
· Work jointly with sales leaders, marketing, and Clients, to define critical gaps in capability, design a recommended future state, and to outline implementation strategies; this may include process, data, information management, analytics, reporting and technology, 
· Support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives and assisting on developing/presenting proposals 
· Participate in solution architecting and guiding client through discovery questions with a strong POV and thought leadership (vs a facilitator drawing requirements out of the client), map client needs to solutions (services) and position sustainable value proposition 

Requirements/ Qualifications 
· Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred. 
· At least 10-15 years IT experience with a focus on Business Intelligence and Data Management. 
· At least 5 years leading Business Intelligence with a major consulting organization or niche player with demonstrated results 
· At least 5 years experience with BI reporting tools – i.e. ETL, Analytics, and Reporting 
· Prior experience in participating in sales pursuits helping sales team to generate, close and expand business. 
· Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to make recommendations and decisions independently. Ability to develop effective working relationships with sales, marketing, customers, and business partners. 
· Excellent presentation skills (development and delivery) required as participation in sales calls and other public speaking opportunities is expected. . 
· Strong preference for experience developing off-shore and outsourced IT services solutions 
· Travel up to 30% - 50% (domestic initially) of the time may be required
