Technical Support Engineer- 80K 

Will work from a home office when not at a client site. They need the technical skills and the ability to travel locally but they do not have to have the prior client facing experience, just the technical ability and willingness. 

3-6 years Linux and Storage experience. 

Will provide technology expertise to enable successful pre-sale and post-sale activities. Work closely with company's sale teams, identifying all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction. 

Key Accountabilities: 
ü In-depth product knowledge: product capability assessment, installation, repair, preventative maintenance etc. 
ü Understands customer's needs and requirements. 
ü In-Depth technical support, working directly with customers including on-site visits. 
ü Convey the message internally to engineering and marketing teams. 
ü Modeling customers' requests to optimize recommendation on products. 
ü Write technical whitepapers and application notes. 
ü Provide internal and external training on company's products. 
ü Explore and analyze different designs and applications to evaluate new opportunities or requirements for product specifications. 

Requirements: 
- Excellent communications & human relations skills 
- At least 5 years of experience working with enterprise customers in different environments 
- Deep knowledge of enterprise storage environments 
- Linux administration 
- Windows administration 
- Understanding logical volume and file system 
- Scripting –Advantage 
- Knowledge in replication and backup methods 
- Understanding of networking and LAN's 
- Understands customer's needs and requirements – Costumers experience A must 
- Capabilities to build presentations and present technical material 
- Fast learning curve, eagerness to learn and face new technological challenges 
- Willingness to travel as required – within the U.S. 
- Ability to work under time pressure. 
- Dedication to customer service.
