Vice President, a newly created position, will report into the Senior Vice President of the US Corporate Loan Services Department. The position requirements will include but not be limited to effectively managing the day-to-day operations, human resource requirements, and ensuring the technology and necessary programmatic strategies are adequately implemented. 

Maximize loan operations production for effective delivery of products and services. Monitor and maintain loan risk controls within department’s tolerance levels. Directly lead and develop leadership capacity among loan 

operations team. Seek out improvements for existing and future products 

and services. Initiate and maintain effective communication with the lending units. Align Department with commercial lending and corporate strategy. 

EXPERIENCE: 

·Bachelors Degree, ideally with an MBA or related advanced degree. 

·A minimum of 8 years experience directing Loan Operations processes, 

risks, and teams in banking 

·Manages the documentation, funding, processing, accounting, and 

servicing of a growing Global Trade Finance loan portfolio. 

·Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all commercial loan 

transactions as well as processing of related documentation and collateral. 

·Maintains knowledge of bank products, services, specialty lending and 

current trends and developments in the industry. 

·Communicates well with all levels of management, including executive 

officers. 

·Demonstrates functional and technical expertise required to perform 

aspects of the job, including knowledge of all industry practices, standards, regulations, internal policies and ensuring they are enforced. 

·Coordinates with other departments to ensure successful delivery of 

related services including establishing the initial organizational structure, processes and process improvement(s). 

·Create an engaging and team-oriented culture by inspiring staff to 

consistently strive for excellence in the work they produce. 

·Challenge and innovate new methods of creative execution. 



SKILLS: 

·A minimum of 5-8 years experience in Trade Finance and Export and 

Agency Services. 

·Areas of expertise should also include: Collateral Management 

services and Administrative Agency services. 

·Experience managing teams of 4+ members, including team leaders and 

managers. 

·Well developed leadership, communication, and organization skills. 

·Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills. 

·Experience with strategic initiatives. 

·Understand commercial and trade finance lending products and 

services. 

·Ability to manage multiple initiatives while staying on course to 

meet deadlines. 

·Ability to interpret credit agreements and related documentation 

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

·Strong program and project management skills. 

·Strong or expert knowledge of LIQ preferred. 

·Strong or expert knowledge of Intralinks Services preferred. 

·Strong or expert knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word. 

·Experience effectively working with peers in other departments.
