Compensation: $85K - $100K / Year

Design and develop applications for the Corporate Risk Controls group so as to help manage risk effectively.

* Analyze and improve existing database for better manageability,
efficiency and performance.
* Capture requirements and create new database schema.
* Design and build maintain store procedures, tables and views.
* Table partitioning (due to large table sizes)
* Performance Tuning, Index Tuning and Query Optimization
* Integrate various data feeds to the Corporate Risk Database
* Responsible for resolving data integrity issues with the business users.
* Responsible for implementation of Analytical Tool to the business
groups.

Qualifications
* BS in Computer Science/related discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years work experience required - *within Oil, Energy
or a Trading environment strongly preferred*
* *SQL Coding and Developing skills;* knowledge of DSQL, TSQL, MDX,
Stored procedures, and Indexed views.
* Experiencing using SSIS, SSAS, Data Cubes and DTS
* Willingness to learn new technologies and embrace change management
procedures.
* Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are essential.
* Demonstrated ability to enhance team performance by bringing SQL
expertise and best practices to the group
* Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written
* Knowledge of trading and financial systems
* Experience with BI tools is a plus.
* Flexibility with working hours (some long days, occasional but rare weekends)
