• They seek an experienced software engineer to help build a next generation search platform.

Essential experience and characteristics include:
.
• Entrepreneurial with an inherent sense of urgency and accountability.
• Must have effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience developing and delivering highly scalable distributed systems with stringent throughput/response time requirements.
• Strong skills and experience in building and delivering robust large-scale online applications with*C#, Java, Map/Reduce and SQL relational databases. Hadoop, Cassandra etc.* • Experience in search, distributed algorithms, advanced data structures, large volume data processing and statistics is a plus.
• Experience with agile or similar methodologies for continuous development of product and technology.
• Data-driven and "quantitative" mentality. Grounded, detail-oriented, always backs up ideas with facts.
• Experience with financial services as businesses is a plus.
• A degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
