•At least 2-3 years in a business analysis role at a major financial services firm, preferably related to trading or portfolio risk management
•Strong math skills, demonstrated by academic achievement
•Thorough knowledge of at least one of the following asset classes:
FX , Commodities, Interest Rates, Credit products. With respect to the asset class of choice, you will possess sufficient product and process experience to recognize deficiencies and recommend best practices for the future state of the software. Product knowledge should encapsulate a complete understanding of the booking process, risk management, P&L, and downstream operational functions. You will be expected to gain similar expertise in other asset classes over time.
•Ability to clearly separate business requirements from implementation proposals
•Ability to influence decision-makers at all levels of the organization
•Ability to clearly articulate and summarize proposed functionality for management review
•Experienced giving presentations to help others conceptualize proposals

•Proficient with Visio, Excel, Word
•Self-motivated, resourceful and creative
•Systematic and organized
•Keen attention to detail while keeping track of the big picture
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to multi-task and manage work to critical project timelines
Additional Skills/Experiences Desired:
•BS or MS degree in Financial Math
•Familiarity with software used by hedge funds
