Description: Provide direct technical support to the firm's chairman. The successful candidate will work closely with our highly skilled IT systems staff and will be responsible for projects covering a wide range of technology. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): on-site and off-site support for all technology-related needs of the firm's chairman; installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices; researching, testing, and evaluating new technology products and; developing new monitoring and administration tools to automate maintenance tasks; as well as involvement in firm-wide technology projects which are not directly related to the chairman.

The ideal candidate will have a computer science or engineering degree, extensive knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX environments, some programming and scripting ability (perl, python, shell, etc.), as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. While we certainly welcome applications from systems administrators with extensive track records, we are looking for exceptional technical ability and problem solving skills more than specific experience. Successful candidates will get broad exposure to enterprise technologies and an opportunity to collaborate on large scale systems engineering projects.
