Description: | • We are seeking a passionate developer who understands, appreciates and is driven to break the sub-microsecond transaction barrier. • The candidate must understand the sources of latency, jitter and how to manage them in a large distributed architecture; "theoretical" developers that don't understand/appreciate the OS or network should not apply; we are looking for hands on people, willing to perform endless failing experiments in pursuit of success. • This is a real-time streaming execution platform, candidate must possess skills and knowledge described below. • Experience with technologies such as 29West's LBM/UME is a plus. • Memory Management / Object Pooling experience is a plus. • Matching Engine experience is a plus. • The candidate must be dedicated, this isn't a settle and disappear position. The field of high performance, low latency transactions is highly competitive and demands dedication. We expect nothing less. • Candidate will be part of a cutting-edge derivatives ECN team and will be expected to contribute their extreme dedication in return for the knowledge, experience and competitive compensation they will receive. • The candidate must have Java and ideally C/C++ skills. • Back Office and Middle Office skills are not applicable to this role.
