• You will deal with a variety of web technologies, but will focus on and require the ability to architect and develop Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010 solutions.
• You will be responsible for mapping customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
• You will also be required to lead the technical analysis and develop and implement the overall technical solution. Responsibilities include: • Design and document appropriate web based solutions spanning Intranet, Internet and Extranet.
• Deliver solutions primarily based on the SharePoint 2010 platform along with web based solutions as customer needs dictate.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with SharePoint 2007 and 2010 with ability to provide best practice guidance.
• Tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals and requirements.
• Architect and design n-tiered web based systems, systems integration, and master data management.
• Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; and articulating solution risks and barriers.
• Recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; and planning full project life cycle architecture.
• Implement architecture by building components and custom designs; prototyping; data migration; maintaining technical integrity and consistency.
• Provide guidance and leadership to other architecture and development resources in a global work environment that includes both on-shore and off-shore resources.
• Work closely with business analysts and software developers to support existing applications and create new products in a fast paced environment.
• Leverage out-of-the-box configuration and deployment of SharePoint custom lists, document types and folders, workflow, InfoPath Forms, views, etc. Job Requirement and Skills
• Deep knowledge of multiple areas of specialization.
• Deep knowledge of design aspects including macro/micro level designs. Good understanding of testing methodology, automated processes, load/performance testing.
