Total comp to 200K (base $90K - $120K)
Some of the things you will do include analyzing portfolio asset allocation, performance, risk vs.. return, trading, as well as helping to build and populate the portfolio risk databases.
The group is growing and this role is ideal for a person who is looking at a long term career in fixed income asset management.
This is an Associate level position in the Portfolio Risk Management group. Where you will assist with building the analytical infrastructure and the implementation of the portfolio risk framework across all fixed income products offered by the firm.
The ideal candidate will have:
•1-2 year programming and scripting skills in XML, C#, Crystal and MS-SQL. I'll send someone with the strength in XML and SQL programming, emerging C# and Crystal knowledge (but this person won't get top $)
A strong quantitative background
Knowledge of what a fixed income product is required.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail, ability to work both independently and as a team player
A bachelor's degree with a post graduate degree preferred
