Excellent coding skills are critical. Currently the project uses a combination of Python, SQL and C#, with some minimal amounts of Java and VBScript. However, Python is the primary development language. They will coach and train an otherwise great candidate who doesn’t have Python experience - great programming fundamentals and excellent problem-solving skills are more important than current familiarity with any particular language. Knowledge of the secondary loan trading market including TRS on Loans is helpful, but not mandatory. Working experience with vendor applications such as LoanTrak or LoanIQ is a big plus.
