Description:    5-7 years of Teradata DBA experience. If you have more than 7 years, you may be too senior for this position. Will also consider 1-2 years of Teradata DBA experience with a background as a DBA. H1B with 3 years remaining will be interviewed/hired. The Teradata DBA role will be a dual role of database administration and data modeling. Will own operational elements of the Teradata environment to ensure uninterrupted service to client applications and end users. Will work with development teams to refine, manage and enforce Database standards published, and will also ensure adherence to committed SLAs and be part of review for any new element of the technology stack moving into production. In the Data Modeler aspect, he/she will partner with various teams including source system owners and business analysts to analyze / assess business specs and model it in an industry standard, sustainable and performing way that suits our business.
