Description:    Will need to periodically work in Northern NJ; client will co-pay for a Zip Car 

Will be responsible for planning, communicating and executing the technology led team goals and initiatives. This role will partner with the Enterprise Engineering and Enterprise Services teams in building and managing the operational infrastructure. 

Responsibilities 
· Prioritize and assess impact of hardware design changes and ensure new feature requests are fully specified for implementation. 
· Work with internal teams to standardize operational requirements of infrastructure 
· Take ownership of the day to day activities of datacenter management 
· Continually identify key areas for infrastructural improvement 
· Manage the communication and delivery of our hardware programs for data center operations 
· Partner with a team of individuals to facilitate in the hardware evaluation and acceptance process 
· Create and communicate a long term strategy for improving data center operability and issue resolution 

Requirements 
· BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience with at least 5 years of experience technical operations 
· 3 years of experience with data center power and cooling infrastructure and operations management of mission critical infrastructure 
· 3 years of experience managing large-scale server installations and maintenance 
· Familiar with Windows/Linux operating system and utilities 
· Familiar with server architecture and components 
· Familiar with EMC Networker, Avamar, DataDomain, and Quantum tape libraries 
· Proven abilities to troubleshoot and diagnose system hardware problems
