Description:    will play a Key role within our middleware operations team. The incumbent will act as Team Player and the individual will be primarily responsible for building middleware infrastructure and delivering application teams value-add services including performance tuning, capacity management, and systems integration. 

Summary of Responsibilities and Duties 

· Installation, Administration and support of web and application servers (JBoss and Tomcat) 

· Design, Install, Configure and provide 24x7 support for middleware products 

· Develop automation scripts for configuration, code deployment, log rotation, patch upgrades, backup and restoration 

· Manage resolution of WebSphere issues, including break-fix, performance tuning recommendations, and project support 

Experience and Competencies 
· 5+ years experience with Web and Application servers 
· Ability to work independently, with excellent oral and written communication skills. 
· Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills. 
· Experience in developing Automation scripts for Installation and Code Deployment. 

Academic Qualifications 

· BS degree in Computer Science or related field and or equivalent work experience. 

Not required but plus 

· IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Portal Server 

· Experience on Websphere Portal and IBM Lotus Connections 

· Good knowledge of LDAP, Tivoli Directory Server 

· Experience in following ITIL Change and Release Management process
