Description:    This position is a part of the SEC Reporting Group that prepares various consolidated external financial reports for filing with the SEC and issuance to the public, including Form 10-Ks (Annual Report),Form 10-Qs (quarterly reports) and quarterly Earnings Releases. The position involves a significant amount of financial report data and commentary preparation as well as some involvement in accounting/reporting research and process improvement projects. It requires moderate to strong understanding of FASB and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements for the financial services industry and how they relate to the businesses of the Company, as well as the ability to spot data issues through analysis of financial detail from the general ledger and off-ledger information provided by Company business units. 

You will be involved in the implementation of new FASB and SEC rules and regulations and must be able to understand and communicate complex accounting issues while interacting with many financial and reporting groups of the Company.

Minimum Qualifications 
4+ years accounting experience 
Experience with the preparation of financial statements and SEC 10-Q/Ks 
Working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations 
Moderate to strong working knowledge of FASB accounting and disclosure requirements for the financial services industry 
Ability to identify, research and offer recommended solutions for moderate to complex financial reporting issues 
Proficiency in Excel and Word 

Preferred Skills 
Strong preference for a CPA (or CPA candidate) with at least four years of related experience (preferably at least two years in public accounting and auditing) 
Experience with Hyperion Essbase 
Understanding of XBRL requirements and experience with XBRL tagging 
Project management experience for moderate to complex projects
