Application is:.  Algorithmic Trading Front End Developer
Responsibilities of the Initial Assignment (What will the person be doing?)   Development of our Algorithmic Trading front end applications using C# .NET. Developer units testing(manual and automated) and support of QA Work in an XP programming environment (agile development methodology)
Essential Technical Knowledge / Skills What level of expertise is needed?   1 = Familiar With       3 = Working Knowledge of     5 = Expert   Development experience with C# / .NET using WinForms  (5) Experience with multithreaded development in C# (5) OO design and programming (5) Development experience with C+  (3) Knowledge and experience of working in the Financial Industry (3)
Other Desired Skills / Experience Experience with building GUI applications (WinForms) Experience with 3rd party gui controls, like Syncfusion, DevExpress, Infagistics. Self motivated individual with drive to grow and expand knowledge beyond current role in the long term Ability to work independently Ability to multi-task & work in a demanding, time-critical environment.
Will this position include production support responsibilities?  To what extent? Yes - On-going support and troubleshooting - approximately 10% (on call approx 3-4 hours per  week)
Degree BA/BS in Computer Science/ Engineering, MS a plus
Communication Requirements       Scale   1= Not Important      3 = Important     5 = Critical Importance of Written Communication Skills              5 Importance of Spoken English Skills                             5
Travel Requirements              Less than 10%
