Application Support Analyst / Worksite Administrator

Providing exceptional technical support to customers via email, phone and in person.  Work on production support issues and several, concurrent projects driven by multiple project owners.  Troubleshoot, escalate, inform the business unit/project sponsor of all production issues and resolutions.  Coordinate the identifying and gathering user requirements, planning, implementation/installation, and testing of a functional release upgrade for several systems.  Write and maintain operational and end user manuals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·          Under general direction, perform a variety of complex duties in providing support for several systems including the document management system (Interwoven's Worksite).

·          Constantly seek to improve processes by logging and documenting support issues that fall outside of SOPs.

·          Perform a variety of application and database administrative, technical and maintenance tasks to support application installations. 

·          Troubleshoot application performance, inspect and resolve system problems quickly and efficiently. 

·          Provide subject matter expertise to assist in trouble shooting application, database and infrastructure problems.

·          Identifying product areas causing the most support queries, and working with the development team to fix them

·          Help improve the documentation of products to help customers and minimize support load.

·          Provide technical leadership in the application support and quality assurance testing during system upgrade and testing.

·          Write and maintain operational and end user manuals.

·          Mentor and train other support resources.

·          Act as technical liaison assisting end users, help center, and systems support technicians in resolving application software issues.

 

 

Required Skills:

 

·          Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills; and good problem solving and analytical skills.

·          Demonstrated ability to gather relevant information and diagnose issues effectively and efficiently.

·          Proven ability to solve problems and learn new technologies.

·          Ability to understand and explain complex systems in plain English.

·          Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

·          In depth operating systems knowledge.

·          Database and SQL experience.

·          Experience dealing with external contractors and vendors.

·          Attention to detail and process.

 

This individual must also be available for overtime, as needed, and must have an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
